FPR Hose position

Can I just run my FPR vacuum hose straight to the intake manifold? It seems that this would adjust the fuel pressure higher when it's boosting and lower under vacuum. Is it really this easy?

This is for an LTX8 on an '87 T2.

i ot mine on the lowest nipple facing the radiator on the throttle body. but all it needs is a vacum anbd boost source that is pretty steady and doesnt fluctuate.

That nipple is the only one that gets vac/boost signal from the PLENUM, it is the only one that does not fluctuate, all of the rest of the vaccum/boost nipples read from individual intake runners.

Hence why that particular nipple should be your Vaccum/Boost Source to the MT Unit - not FPR.

For the FPR, use the nipple on the inside of the LIM that points towards the firewall at about a 45 degree angle.

And move your MT source to where silverrotor said.
