Emergency! Accidentally changed the "Dwell" number.

Hey,
Trying to get the car going here with the Lt8x and we accidentally changed the "dwell" number that was factory preset and is not supposed to be changed.
Its an S5 TII pre-programmed LT8x.
Please, get back to me asap.

Im not exactly sure what dwell does. But i know that when steve kan was tuning my car for drivability, he was changing the dwell a little at a time and was able to get better throttle response. I used to have a hesitation when i hit the gas peddle, as he adjusted it, the hesitation started to disappear till it was non existant.

The dwell is the time that the coils charge. That number all depends on what coils you got. Now I could be wrong but I think the stock coils are around 3.00 ms? I know that the bosch coils use 4.50ms.
