Cranking Map question
Hi guys,
I find at times my engine cranks a bit longer than I would like to start.. it starts fine hot and cold generally.. Usually does it when halfway cooled down. I am guessing maybe it is my crank map settings? Is that likely to be rich or lean? or could it be either?
Also is it usual for the crank map to go to zero at full operating temp?
I have a 20B with 875cc/1680cc injector set-up.
Would love some input please.
Thank you

Connect to the software and check the graph... It should look smoothly from cold temps tapering down to little % at 82C and 99c
however, every engine is different (my 13bT likes -20% on hot starts and little percentage when warming up dont know why but thats how I got it to start right)and it depends on the port and injectors and so on.... So just play around with a little more or less percentage until it starts the way you want
