Could my MT make the car smoke if....

it's running too rich?

Here's the thing, engine is brand new and I changed from a rebuilt stock turbo to a new TO4B with all the goodies. Car somked bad the 1st time because I was having probs with the old turbo leaking oil into the d/p.

Now it just smokes a tad. White-ish color. Doesn't really smell like oil or coolent. After the car starts to warm up under a load it doesn't seem to be much at all.

I thought that maybe my premix was too rich so I cut it back to see.

Anyway, The MT is still on it's base map and I can't go to get it tuned untill I brake in the engine.

Could the base map make the car smoke that color if it's to rich? I all ways thought back was too much fuel.......

Oh, another reason I think it is't oil is because, it will smoke right at a cold start up, when the oil hasn't even moved though the engine. *starter turns over....verroomm, smoke*

Yeah, I mean it's not bad. But non would be best. Can I take some fuel out for the lower rpm's (1000-3500) untill the engine ready to be tuned? Got the laptop just don't have the adapter yet so I would have to use the hand.
