Cash to anyone who could help me start my car.

Where do I start? I have a 1st gen with a TII swap and Microtech ECU. I bought the engine and ECU from a guy, who also installed it for me. It has an upgraded turbo, front mount intercooler, MSD fuel pump and an aftermarket BOV. He has started it a couple of times, but if the engine shuts off it wont restart. I do not know much about the ECU, so my offer is cash to anyone in the Burlington area(Canada) who can help me out.

are you getting any errors? Is it flooded? Is timing set right? Are coils getting power? Do you have fuel, spark and compression?

check you "wat" map and set all the correction values to the one you have set for your normal start up temp see it that helps. if car does restart then your problem might be the car at a certain temp the correction factor might be adding to little/much fuel after its warm.

Probable engine has low compression and needs rebuild.

IF* compression is good.

YOUR water map maybe out. if you flick through your hand set the wat map should be 0% at 82 and around 8 at 68 and 13 at 60.

If your water map settings are good your injectors may be wrecked and need replacing(READ, not servicing, replacing).

Theirs not much else it could be.

emmm.
Maybe you need to drive it up and down the road a few times. put some k's on it to get the compression up. who built the engine and what current compression does it have.
