With how the last 2 GBs went, I am suprised anyone wants to touch it with a 10 foot pull. Both times took about 3-4 months, and you expecting a bargain basement 660 price so that a dealer wouldn't make money is rediculous dude. I was in the first GB, and I paid 680 for my LT8 and laptop adapter.
The dollar has gone down in value, while AUS has gone up, so everyone is paying more, not less.

Sorry it's been so long waiting for a reply from us!
we have all of our prices on our website http://www.br7racing.com
as for the group buy don't expect anything near the same price as the last two. the last two occured during a time where the exchange rate was in the 1.90's and then the 1.70's... the current rate is bouncing between high 1.40's and mid-low 1.50's... not even close to what it used to be!
the potential of another group buy is totaly dependent on the release of the new units from Microtech. Currently we are experiencing delivery problems with LT12's and are trying to take care of some customers who have had a bad taste left in there mouth from some configuration and shipping issues with old units. There is potential for another group buy in time for the holidays... this potential GB will be of much shorter duration, however!

I"M not sure if I should go w/ the ltx or just the lt. i am using stock 3rd gen coils. can i still use the ltx incase i deside to change coils eventually..? that is all i really need to know at this point. thanks...

Yes, you can still make use of the stock coils... just remove the igniters from the stock system and rely on the ltx's internal igniters.
until you get aftermarket coils this will work just fine.

badaz7 - ray suggested that you can remove the igniters from the 3rd gen's coil and run on the LTX's igniters.

Just in time to die

The reasoning behind it is simple, if they get this sudden huge amount of orders dropped on them it creates back orders, which inturn makes people have to wait longer than they should including people who don't even know about the group buy or were involved, which now makes people upset, and Microtech look bad with unhappy clients or customers. So as bad as it sounds it does work out better for all of us in the end.The last two group buys really put a demand on them and they just don't want people waiting longer than they should.
