The car is now running like a dream! First time in three years I have been able to drive it. Thank you very much, the person who sold me those injectors must have pulled a quick one on me. :(

Please keep this thread clear and keep it to PMs conceptz.

rx72c I pulled my injectors out and got them flow tested...

Interesting thing is after doing my research the injectors are 720's and 1680cc's here are the injectors i have.

primaries: denso top feed: 720cc, part number: 195500-0830
http://injector-rehab.com/images/inj...95500-0830.jpg

secondaries: bosch top feed 1680cc, part number: 0280150842
http://injector-rehab.com/images/inj.../280150842.jpg

Just wondering if you have any input as to why I had issues with the inital map then?

The primary injectors (2.2 ohms) flowed 48cc in ten seconds @ 40 psi @ 6ms pulse
The secondarys (4.8 ohms) flowed 94cc in ten seconds @ 40 psi @ 6ms pulse

Just wanting to make sure the right injectors are in before I make the 13 hour (each way) trip to get the car tuned. thanks!

rx72c 11-04-09 11:06 PM

Just because the part no. says its a 720cc injector it dosnt mean it will flow that much etc. They are all alittle different.

I would not let it worry you.

Yep mate you are the best

taz8924pr 05-05-10 02:06 PM

Hey mate i need your help,i have the same setup of Dan the only diferent the my fuel system is now paralell I use all the maps you tell him in the threat and start only with my foot in the gas at soon I remove the foot from the gas just shut off and the afr just go up like 15.

rx72c 05-05-10 04:29 PM

Did you put in the idle map i gave to dan?

the second one that is?

might be abit lean.

taz8924pr 05-05-10 10:05 PM

Yes I did but like I said only stay running if I keep my foot in thr gas,I thing in change the system again from paralell to regular again and see what happen beacuse the fuel preassure regulator just go up to 15.

taz8924pr 05-05-10 10:07 PM

Yes was lean when I stared

taz8924pr 05-07-10 09:30 PM

The car start mate but at soon give some throttle get rich and the motor stumbles, what you thing I can do?

rx72c 05-08-10 12:33 AM

Who said its rich. More likely its lean on inital throttle hit. Take your car to a dyno and get it tuned.

taz8924pr 05-08-10 10:52 AM

Let me explain better, the car start and when I take it to the road and the car start get boost is when stumbles and geting rich.Where I live is no dyno close so I have to drive like 10hours to Florida and how is the car now I not want to drived so far.

taz8924pr 05-08-10 04:37 PM

Hey mate the fuel regulator was at 60 psi now at 40 psi nice but when boost pass 5000 rpm stumble and the afr read 10.0 so too rich yo know or explain. Me how i cam fits that. Thanks

rx72c 05-08-10 07:50 PM

i need to know what boost the afr is 10 at. If you give me poor info i cant help
rpm means nothing. i need to know the load.

dakota's rx7 11-04-12 08:17 PM

wish people posted up there maps and things like you do for megasquirt. my car is still super rich buying plugs for my car is getting old

troyYowell574 11-17-12 12:22 AM

wiil this map work for an lt-8? same size injectors and not starting fouling plugs.

rx72c 11-20-12 02:12 AM

yeh it will work.

Eli063 04-03-13 01:54 PM

Would anything be different if I'm running 4 secondary injectors? Thanks

abtosway 06-12-13 05:44 AM

Just a shout out to rx72c and Dan S Young. I plugged this map in earlier today (nearly identical engine setup, though Dan's car is far prettier :P) and it ran better than it ever has before, a fact the wideband backed up. Thanks fellas!

It does still fall flat on its face and often dies with any quick application of throttle, as Dan described earlier. This only occurs at low rpm, ie. from idle, not higher rpm so I'm thinking its either the load map before staging or pump settings.

The culprit could very well be the modified throttle body with secondary plates and dampers removed, in any case ill take a stab at the load map tomorrow. Im guessing my 720s will fall somewhere between the first and second maps rx72c suggested. Pump settings are beyond me though!

Any further suggestions or hints would be appreciated, but frankly I just wanted to say thanks! :)
