Mine sits on 88, never gets above 90 unless I am on it long and hard on the interstate than then I get to 92 some times. This is with a Greddy FMIC, Koyo radiator and stock fan/shroud.

84-88
gets upto 90-94 when I step on it for a period of time
then it settles back ino the 80's again after I letit idle for a bit
I have a voltage draw somewhere
when the lights are on and I press the brakes
the E-Fan slows down and My temps go up

getting a FD alt and a Koyo soon

84c is equel to my thermostat which is set at 180 degress
which my mechanical water gauge validates

I have the stock rad, greddy fmic and a electric fan off a taurus and I never! see temps over 86c, even after hard boosting it and running the **** out of the car. Do you still have the stock turbo?? I have verified before a temp gun that the turbo acts as a pre heater to the coolant, when I had the stock setup there was a 90f temp change in the coolant temp by going through the turbo when pushing 12psi!! Know I have a to4e and run just oil through it and temps are perfect!

I never see temps over 84 degrees celsius, and I've been running 25 psi for the last couple of weeks. This is on stock fan with bad fan clutch, and stock rad. I drilled hole around my thermostat, maybe that helped? BTW my motor is blown, couldnt take the 25 psi much longer. oh wells. Does anyone know how to change it from celsius to fahrenheiht?

This Is how I corrected my higher than anticipated Water Temps...but with the use of a FMIC. Abit long but good Info (atleast In my opnion) manifested.

I still need to address my Oil Temps as they are constently pegging redline.

kabooski, allow me to arrange a FD Alternator Kit for you. You won't be dissapointed.
