ARRGH!! Reverting back to base map

Does anybody know how to revert back to the original base map that the unit shipped with? Jon, you would happen to have my base map still would you?

On the Laptop startup screen it will have Microtech LT blah blah blah....
Go across to the right & you will come across the screen that says "load memcal 1" then memcal 2,3 & 4 etc.
when you get to that screen press & hold down the "P" key on the keyboard for 5 seconds & it will load the base map back into the ECU & make it the active program.Provided you havent saved anthing else onto that particular memcal.
I guess you wouldn't have otherwise you wouldn't have needed to ask how to do it!
LOL

YEP! Nothing was saved. Thanks Jon.

Last night I decided to sit down and sort things out. After about 45 minutes of the car sitting at idle while I adjusted every map through 9000 RPMs I got it sorted out. I want to see how well it does today, if not, base map is going back in.

So I am guessing to save a map I go to save memcal somewhere, then the map name or number or whatever, and hold down P for a couple of seconds?

Alright, successfully reverted back to non-fubar'd base map, did TPSCAL, and timing lock. All is well. Switched to matrix mode, leaned out the idle mixture, running great, still need to richen it up a bit above 2500 though

Just a hint.....
Leave the Matrix mode switched off & get the car running well & tuned properly then switch on the matrix.
It will save you a lot of time & will get you in the ballpark with your figures & mixtures.
You will find that you will get it almost perfect without the Matrix anyway with a bit of practice!
