Airflow meter
I have not looked into the microtech system and was wondering if it could remove the stock MAF(88 TII). I was pretty set on going haltech, but the tuning software looks quite complicated and in depth. The emangage has to have the MAF and motec is way to expensive. From what I have read the Microtech seems the way to go and was wondering how hard it is to install and how much wiring I have to hack up. I would like to not cut any harnesses at all because I want to be able to put the car back to stock (10th anniversary-it might be worth something someday) and hope to avoid this. Are there any plug and play harnesses? Should I go Microtech or do you have any other suggestions? K2RD has the plug and play Haltech harness, and I thought you might know if there was anything like that for the Microtech. I'm pretty tired writing this so sorry If I rambled too much. Thanks

Since the LT is a speed-density type system, yes, you can completely remove the AFM.
A plug-and-play harness is possible in a strict sense, but is not recommended except for very special circumstances. The stock Mazda harness is terrible in its quality, and should be replaced if at all possible.
Search around this section for a while and you should get a good feel for what the Microtech LT's all about.
