13B PP Help !!
Have just fitted a LTX8 on a Peripheral port 13B normally aspirated engine.
Would like to know if I should use MAP sensor or TPS
for load.Vehicle is a 1302 Beetle running a 13B PP with a 50mm throttle body and 4x550 13BT injectors and a 13BT crank trigger(dizzy).Any advise would be welcome.
Had a MTX8 on initially but kept on getting home/reference/rpm errors, changed unit to LTX8 and everthings OK.
Thanks in advance!

Hey Razorback.I have done quite a few half bridge turbo 2 engines with the Microtech (Most running into the low 10's) & they work killer!!!
As for the PP,you will HAVE to run it in TPS mode. You will need a full swing TPS that reads from 0 - 99% from full closed to full open throttle.
2 of the quickest & fastest 13B PP's in the world (AFAIK) run Microtech & both run off TPS (El Wao from Puerto Rico & Jesus Padilla in NHRA all motor)The other fast all motor guy, Ken Scheepers, will be running Microtech this next NHRA season too!!
