Thanks for your response. I've confirmed the timing the T1 plug, stock pin to mark indicate 20 ATDC (15 degree split across the board/all rpm and all timing trim including static is set to zero). However, it still showing me 65 degree on the L1 timing instead of the 5.

How do I check to see if it's firing in waste spark mode?

sure its not a FC program in it? does the ID screen say 13bt ??

......time it using the t1 plug , the stock pin and mark on FD is 20 ATDC

..screen 26 leading /trailing split at idle and low revs set to 15

and all timing trims set on zero

by timing the trailing correctly , leading should automatically be 5 ATDC

.. but cause you may have it firing the stock leading coil then it will be wastesparking and you cant read the timing pulse on some lead/ light combos on one of the spark plugs
( cause the wasted spark on one rotor is actually heading from chamber to the coil..)

also/// if the ecu has 4 ignition outputs ( put is running the stock leading coil /ignitor ) then you may have to wire both leading output wires to the ignitor
( else it has to be configured by microtech .. and its hard to call what is what as some units are simple 3 output setups for stock coils,, and others are setup as four ig outs for the x4 box )
