Hi Chuck, I plan to purchase a fd3s in the houston area and plan on driving it back to NY. Do you think you could give it a once over for me? Making sure it will make the journey?

Please get in contact with me at your earliest convenience.

    Thank You

    Hi Chuck,
Im looking for a mechanic in the Houston area to replace some bushings and give my car a once over. I brought it from Lousiana and its driving great so far. Only issue currently is a clunking from the rear suspension but Im hoping replacing the pillow ball bushings will fix that. Im planning to replace those next week but if you know of anyone who could replace the rest of the bushings or take a look and see what else needs to replacing, I would appreciate it. Any help would be great.
    Thanks, Dan

    Hello, Chuck,
I am looking for someone to get my girl back on the road. The 1990 RX7 has been in storage for over ten years. She had an engine transplant about 1,000 miles before being stored. I had a shop do some work, but that guy screwed up more than he repaired.
    Any suggestions would be helpful!
    Thanks, D. J. M.

    Good Morning,

I found your info on rx7 club and seemed you were pretty knowledgeable on helping someone else with a very similar issue. I need some direction. I own a US ’94 FD (3 motors later) I decided to buy a ’99 R1 JDM motor (complete swap-motor, trans, engine harness, ECU). As you know, This is a very common swap. Motor and trans are installed and the ECU has been changed out to the '99 ecu. Now I have found the part of the swap no one told me about until after the fact… my dash harness plug ins are different than the ’99 R1 JDM ECU.

So, I am looking for an “adapter/jump harness/pig tail” etc. that the dash harness can plug into and then plug into the ’99 JDM ECU.
Does such a creature exist or is this something that can be re-pined?

Very anxious to get the car back on the road…..

Hey fellow Houstonian. I'm in need of your help. I've been on a long search for someone to help me rebuild my Renesis engine, and finally came across you.

I'm hoping you are available, and would like to know your rates, and need your guidance.

I'm not really into forums and joined this deal just to contact you, so forgive me if I'm breaking some kind of creed.

I'm looking to start, like yesterday so PM (or whatever it's called) and we can exchange contact info?

    Thanks a bunch.

    Hello,

Are you still building 13b's? I have a 2nd gen turbo with a medium street port (porting by Mazdatrix) that I have had some serious low oil pressure issues with. I built the engine...and have since rebuilt it when I overheated it a while back. I used new Mazda iron, rotor hosing and end housings but reused the e-shaft and rotors. The apex seals are from Tracy Crooks RWS Rotary Aviation. I hope this does not scare you off, but it is being used in my home built airplane. Velocity Aircraft

I fear I may have missed something in the rebuild thus think it may be time to call in a professional and wonder if you would be available and interested.

Please let me know if you may be able to help as well as some ballpark pricing and time involved. I live in the SE area of Houston but work in Bellaire. I am happy to accommodate helping as I may and you see fit.

    Thanks

If you think it is easier to talk, my cell is 832-818-2355.
