    Hey man...

This is Christopher W. My car has been at Logan's Defined Autowork for years. Logan has always got back to me when I try to contact him. Though sometimes it might take a bit. He is supposed to be getting an LS3 put in my car so this stupid ass 14 year project can be completed finally.

I have not been able to get a response from Logan for over a month. You don't by any chance remember the guy that use to work with Logan? He had that 240SX with a 3 rotor or something...I can't remember. He looked asian as I remember. I think the guy works sometimes with Logan still but mainly works with his dad in some other business like signs or painting.

I am trying to get someone in the area to stop by and figure out what is up. I find it odd when I have made multiple specific requests for some sort of response and I have got nothing so far. The last time Logan spoke to me it was Oct 25th.

    Thanks
    Christopher

Taurus Alternator Wiring is in my Album here. S5 Alternators are wired the same as the FD, with 12v constant (from EGI fuse, White/Blue wire to sense Voltage) and Ignition-Switched 12v (White/Black wire, powers stator field). Taurus Alt uses the same wiring as a S5 Alt.

Hey dude, I'm trying to wire up my Taurus alt to my S5... I keep seeing the diagram you posted as a broken photobucket link... care to fix that? It seems no one has love for a taurus alt on an S5 but all the info in the world if you have an S4

Well I made some "progress" on the idle problem but I don't know what it means. I disconnected the TPS at the connector and she smoothed out somewhat and and the backfiring stopped. Still wont Idle at low rpm as she will get rough and die.

Thank you, you have a keen eye sir. I was very displeased with his work as well.. he was a huge ziptie fan. It was red before he painted it, its still red when you open the doors. I definitely plan on doing some body work & painting it (I'm lucky there because my brother paints car for a living). This is something I forgot to ask but when I rebuild my motor, should I get it tuned right away? Or break it in? Because the bad tune it's got now is the reason I have to pop the motor. I appreciate your help tho I'm just now getting into rotaries seriously

The Taurus fan fits rather well on the stock radiator and moves boatloads of air, but is VERY thirsty. This is why the Taurus came with a 130A alternator. In short, a FD alternator gets pushed too hard to run a taurus fan, hence why I upgraded back on the old 13B setup. The 20B setup is still untested though.
