zeitronix wideband questions

so i got the zeitronix zt-2 and i want to wire it to the MS but im not sure how or where and dont want to mess anything up.

i have one wire that is a wide band analog output and another wire that is a boost sensor ground reference. where would i put these in the MS? can you also make it simple for me to understand. im not that great at electronics. thanks guys! im excited to do some more in depth tuning

Run the analog wideband output to the MS O2 input. Wire the ground ref to an MS ground.

ok. did the analog output after a braindead moment.. the boost sensor ground reference i think is to read the boost levels. if i wire that to an MS ground, it will be able to read boost some how?

no, the boost sensor ground reference is just a ground. Usually some sensors, (like the boost sensor, TPS, temp sensors etc) have a dedicated "clean" ground to avoid noise that could confuse the computer or make the sensor readings inaccurate. The O2 sensor should share this "clean" ground, so that minimal electrical noise will interfere with the reading you are seeing. Basically, connect it to any of the MS's grounds.

ok i understand.. maybe they are confused about the wiring then.. i only have that single wire labled for boost. the datalogger says that i can read boost with it so i assumed that wire was the signal for it. wiring that wire to a ground will not magically make the zeitronix be able to read boost would it?

here is the link to the wiring diagram
http://www.zeitronix.com/installatio...structions.pdf

let me know what you guys think. thanks

edit.. i took my own advice and looked at the wiring again. it has another wire for zeitronix boost(map) sensor INPUT... where do i put that wire?

man i feel like a tard.

The hook up the boost sensor wire to the boost sensor that's sold by zeitronix. If you don't have that boost sensor, you don't hook that wire up to anything.
