wide band variation

Hey guys, got my s5 running on megasquirt a couple weeks ago. I'm using an innovate lc1. I'm getting it tuned better and better but, my megasquirt reads .5 to 1.0 leaner than my wideband gauge and logworks. I have double and triple checked my settings on both my squirt and my lc1. I tweaked my settings so they were within .3 of each other. Then the next time I drove it to do some more fine tuning it was off .5 to 1.0 lean again.

Which output on the LC-1 are you using? They have two, one is 0V at 7.35 AFR & 5V at 22.39 AFR, and the other simulates a narrowband so, so 0.1V at 15 AFR & 1.1V at 14 AFR. You should be using the first output, since any voltage offsets will have a much smaller effect on the reading, and you can see when the reading is outside of 14-15 AFR. I personally set up the MS to read the default output (the one I typed above), because every couple of weeks I found that the LC-1 would revert back to its factory defaults, and if I programmed in a new curve, it would be gone.

Also, the wideband needs to be grounded to the same point as the ECU.

I have both outputs set the same. I have set the squirt to the default and a custom one to try to compensate for the difference. It worked but then the next time I hooked up my computer it was offset again. I will see if it is a ground issue.
