Megasquirt where can i install my IAT sensor?

where can i install my IAT sensor?

the intake elbow is plastic and i cant tap it. can i put it in the dynamic chamber. its a gsl-se 6 port 13b with 2nd gen intake on it.

you can drill a hole in the plastic large enough to fit the sensor, then build up a large lump of epoxy or JB weld, then drill and tap that and use thread sealer around the sensor. Not the prettiest way, but it'll work, and you can position it somewhere that it won't be in view.

why don't you just use the stock one?

or you could just drill and tap where the stock one is located.

i dont have those pieces. the stock one goes in the intake on an S5 correct? this motor is going in a 70 bug so its kinda custom/redneck engineering. think ill cut a piece of brass pipe and thread the inside then epoxy it into the elbow.
