I've been running version 029q2 just fine, and when I went to version 029v, the car runs like crap. It runs sooo ridiculously rich, that I can see a puddle of fuel sitting at the end of the tailpipes. Actually INSIDE the muffler. I played around with all the settings and maps as well as the coldstart and warmup enrichments, but NOTHING seems to make any difference. So, I went back to 029q2 and all is well. And yes, I used the same file as I did for 029q2. Can anyone explain this? I'd like to upgrade to the new version, but as far as things are going with the new version, I can't even use it. Can anyone explain this??

I tried 029v as well, seeing strange behavior on MT. Looking over datalogs I am seeing constant resets, apparently right after gammae = 0, I have reverted back to 029t, and everything is fine(minus some slight spiking), I am beginning to believe that perhaps there is some issue with running almost everything on the error daughterboard w/ 029v. This weekend will go to trying out a "bare-bone" CAS pickup only and re-trying 029v.
As far as I know, none of the changes should cause what you're seeing, and many are running 029v with no problems... I personally have had it running on a 7 with no problems.
The changes made were a cleanup of the use of a certain register inside ISRs... There were no other changes made that should cause anything like this.
Did you guys remember to run easytherm?

Tried a fresh install of the 029v w/ mt package, ran easytherm, flashed w/ easytherm, copyini'd, etc ... same results. tried copying the new inc files to the src directory, recompiled, re-flashed same results.
hrmm, well like I said, nothing else has changed, and I've run with it no problem... You may want to try recreating your settings from defaults.
I'll run some tests on the bench anyway to see if there's anything odd going on. It'll probably have to wait a little while though; at least until I'm finished fixing the last rotary ms2/extra problem.
You might want to try running the hires code too... the latest version fixes the spikes as well, but may not include any change that could be causing what you're seeing (I'm pretty sure as I said before there were no changes though... but will look).
