I have a devilsown water/meth kit all ready. My problem is I would like a little more control of how it works. Right now it runs on 0-5v signal from the map sensor. I would like it to run on rpm and map table. I found some info on the subject over on the msforum. On my old ms2 setup I got the signal directly off the map sensor and use a spare pin on db37 to get it to the controller. I was wondering if I could setup a output to mimic the map sensor or do I need to tap into the sensor again.

What I really want to do is ditch the controller and use one the pwm outputs. They have table setup like a ve table. So I could control the meth injection better. Right now I am get full meth injection by 4000rpm. I would like it to be more gradual with rpm and boost. The controller reads of boost but I get full boost by 3600rpm (24psi). So I get way to much meth down low. I also run 100%meth so I need it to control nicely to make it easier to tune. I am also cranking a lot of meth in there 1500cc. Any suggestion would be great.

 

I think the easiest thing to do is to ditch the controller and let the MS control it.

 

I agree but what output can handle pwm the pump. There is talk of it making to much noise. I guess I could try it out and see. I was thinking of using one of the extra injector driver on the ms3x. It seams easy to do. Almost to easy lol. Nothing seams to work easily for me.

 

Do you know what kind of current it pulls?

I am gonna quess around 8-10amps I will do a little digging see if I can find true specs on the pump. Every thing I founds was saying around 10amps

 

If you're using the ms3x for injectors, one of the mainboard injector drivers should easily be able to handle the water injector. Do you know what the impedance of that injector is?

It pwm the pump directly to control flow. It just 2 simple nozzle that injects the meth. There is no injector solenoid. I am trying to set up sequential so I will have the mainboard ones freed up. thanks for all the help. Eventually I would like to set it up the howard colemand did with a extra set of meth compatible injectors paired with the secondaries.
