VE Table Question
I'll soon be installing a MegaSquirt (upgrade from a microtech over 10 yrs old).
I am wondering how the injection works with the VE tables. With MSII there are only 12 points at which you can tune.
Lets just forget the load values for now. eg.
1000 rpm - 0%
2000 rpm - 100%
say I set these values. at 1500rpm, i am wondering is 50% fuel enrichment done?? or does it not smooth the figures out?
The way my microtech works is that at 1499 i would be at 0% and 1500 id be at 100% lol.. (yes its old!!)
Thanks,
Paul.

from my current microtech digi manual lol:
"the load function senses engine load and sets the injector open time to the value set in the load screen (the map point closest to the current value). lol
it will be a sweet upgrade :P cant wait! thanks

MegaSquirt Mod
yeah that's one of the features of the MS that its seems a lot don't match... it may only have 12x12 load vs rpm points, but it interpolates between them so it's like having a lot more than that when you compare to other EFI systems.
