Only if you're not running trailing ignition.

You'd be better off with MS3 as well for many reasons.

Yes I know that ms3 are better.
I have ps1000 but I need another one ecu.
I tried that it will be cheaper with ms2
But it's hard, you have to buy ms3x

Not entirely sure what you mean here, but the bottom line is that to do everything you're asking and keep trailing ignition, you need ms3.

With a Microsquirt, how do you wire the 3 coils on an FD?

Looking at the MicroSquirt, it only offers 2 ignition channels. Unless there is a way to reconfigure another output as ignition (I don't believe so) it cannot drive ignition with full trailing. You can run leadings only.

CA megasquirt and tps

I'm thinking about installing the megasquirt and using your write up as a guide. The only thing I didn't see was wiring up the dual TPS that I have in my S5 T2. I realized that you were using an S4 as your demonstrator. Just wondering what signals I use for the additional TPS (High Band I'm guessing) Thanks

I'd have to check the FSM to confirm but I believe my wire colours have you use the 1/4 range section of the S5 TPS. If you want to use the full range, check the wiring diagram and just use those three wires instead.

The benefits is that you can use TPS based acceleration over the entire range, flood clear is more standard (activated at pedal to the floor instead of 1/4 down), and you can datalog TPS position. There are also some boost control advantages as it allows setting of boost control via throttle position.

So... if what I read is correct. The DIYPNP Microsquirt does not support full trailling? Or has that been fixed with the new firmware.

In case anyone is wondering, yes, the new firmware does support full trailing with split timing.

Ooo, neat. I thought it was a hardware limitation...
