Two microsquirts, one for leading and one for trailing posible?

HI, it is posible of conecting two microsquirts via CAN and control leading and trailing? I try to do some testing but dont know were to begin...

Why would you need two one megasquirt is able to fully control trailing and leading

I've heard of someone doing something similar to have a redundant system for a rotary in a plane, but IIRC they had completely different sensors for everything too
