TX tuning a now turbo 13b

I am almost done installing a turbo on my na gslse 13b. I have read Aaron's write up (for the 10th time) and the mega manual about tuning boost. How much of the ve table do I Need to spend time tuning in the vacume section? I am running a small turbo so anticipate being in boost by 25-2700 rpm. I plan on pulling my waste gate spring and tuning the 've table in vacuum up to 3500 ish but don't know how detrimental it might be to leave the rest of the tabe basically untuned before boost. A few more details. Car is a 1970 vw beetle drag car, ms2 v3, gt3582 turbo, water to air IC, pump has (for now) planning 15lbs boost max. Will rarely be street driven and if so max 30 miles as required for some street car drag events. Thanks in advance

I would suggest tuning as much of the off-boost table as you can before running boost because it's just going to make things a lot easier. If you are going to drive it on the street at all, having that part of the table acceptable is going to be a major benefit. You won't burn fuel unnecessarily, you won't draw attention to yourself on the street with backfires and stinky exhaust, etc. If you just want it usable, then just turn on autotune and drive around in vacuum for an hour. It will give you a completely usable tune.
