Consider this an update-
I tore down the motor, ALL the seals on the rear rotor were stuck. Heavy heavy carbon, pulling the car would not have freed these seals. Everything was within spec though. I decided to replace the apex seals anyway, and the side seals that I broke when trying to remove them. I'm streetporting the secondaries, and should have the engine together around the end of April when I will have time to do it all. Thats when I'll have round 2 with the megasquirt!

Another update-
Fresh streetported rebuild, got it to start on the megasquirt, ran about 45 seconds and smoked up the neighborhood real good. I let off the gas and it died, couldn't get it restarted and drained the battery trying.
Flooded most probably?
I'm going to try again tomorrow once the battery is freshly charged, wish me luck!
Oh, and I did this

Yeah, starting issues are cleared up - just needed a little less fuel and a fully charged battery. It starts up nearly instantly now on the fresh rebuild.
But, unfortunately the oil cooler has a hole in it, so once the oil is up to temperature it starts gushing out on the floor. So still haven't got to the actual tuning yet...
