Hey I have an S5 throttlebody with its TPS here on my workbench. I`ve read that the S5 TPS is "better" than the S4. If this is true is there a benifit to swapping them out? or CAN you swap them out? Maybe I`m wasting time with this so sorry in advance if this is truly stupid.

 

it alldepends on where the tb came from, tII or na?
if it came from the tII u got it made it will bolt right on.
if its a n/a tb the throtle cabel will not work.
and yes the s5 tps is better because of the wide range.
what i did i got the metal peice that pushes the tps and put it in the s4, you have to relocate the tps but it works perfect

 

The TB is from an S5 NA.

Have you got a pic or two of your setup that I could follow. I hate to see the better TPS wasted on my bench.

 

i could take one... but all u need is to take the half circle that moves the tps
and put it in your s4 then u losen the s4 tps and repositon it . ill show u some pics
