think im getting noise

So this is my problem. Its annoying as all hell an embarrassing as all hell. The symptoms ill be driving an the way i have my car is i have the stock tach running off the trail like its suppost to. Then i have aftermarket tach off the leading with a shift light.

Every so often ill be driving along an ill see the leading coil tach bounce n ill feel a little hesitation. Theres been one time when it has even turned off. I had my friend kick/move the harness under the dash an it came back on. Hit a bump turn back off. I though maybe it was a bad connection in the wire. So i traced it from the leading all the way back to the db37 no breaks an the cup was tight in the db37. I thought maybe it was a cold soilder joint i hit everyone of the soilder joints again. Didnt change.

As for the wiring of the main wires. I have the power ran off the old injector power on the factory harness under the dash. Ive never lost power to the box either so IDK. As for the ground its' ran to the neg battery terminal through a crimped contector the bolt slides through. I dont know if that is it having the ground on the battery. I would think i could get noise from the body. but im hoping this is just something dumb.

If kicking the harness has an effect, then you have bad wiring somewhere.

see thats what i thought. but i traced down my wire an there is no breaks in the wire its one contiuous for the coil to the computer.i was thinking maybe it was the cup on the harness but i pulled the wire an twisted it an no changed. i was thinking maybe it was wires for the cas. the sheilded ones i have it grounded at the ecu side an ungrounded on the cas. im thinking i might just buy the diy harness. but im hoping its something in the wiring an not my dual lm or maybe a wire inside the box. a buddy of mine said i can run a cap between the pick wires on the shielded wire like from ne- to ne+ an g- to g+ an it will help smooth out the signal tomorrow ill check it out hoping the weather stays good

That's really the way to go, I have that harness and I am very happy with its quality. It is infinitely than 20+ year old wiring.
