Tach and Ignition Input

Building my Megasquirt 2 and I need to know what Tach input the Stock first gen (1980) is and what input the stock FC ignition input is.

for a digital signal such as a Hall sensor or optical sensor (step 50.a.) or for a coil negative terminal (50.b.). these are the same circuit, but different components.

By the question I assume you are building the 'Squirt as fuel only? And you are triggering from the 2nd gen coil you've retrofitted?

Configure the Megasquirt to trigger from the coil. It can then be connected to the negative side of the FC coil.

You're going to want to jumper XG1/XG2 as I recall. You may also need a series resistor of about 10K or so. And if not installed, install the "Dave" capacitor. It might need to be upgraded to 0.33uF.
