Smile Table Switching

Hi again,

I am looking at making using of the table switching system. Looking at the drawing on the MS site I have a few questions.
1- Are the resistors all ¼ watt rated and at 5%?
2- The “2K2” to describe a resistor connected to the transistor what dose it indicates?

Thanks

Got it

I have the VE table # 3 working. 1/4 watt 5% works. 2K2 indicates 2.2 OHM.

The 'k' indicates 1000, so 2k2 = 2200 ohms. 1/4 watt 5% is fine. You'll smoke that transistor with a 2.2 ohm.

Smile 2.2K OHM Red,Red,Red,Gold Bands

I checked in to what I was using and it is 2.2K = 2200 OHM. The resistor has three red bands then gold. I am not 100% on this electron information. I have just enough to get by and in to a little trouble. I’m slowly adding items one at a time to the Mega squirt and testing in my race car before I go to the next item. Table changes over, over heat light, fan control are all working at this time.

Thanks Renns
