WI Stim shows injectors constantly on!!

Hello,

I built my ms a while back its ms 2 v3 board and it worked perfect when i built it and tested it with the stimulator.
Now i am starting to get back into doing things to the car and built the harness for the relay box to the ms. When i went to test the ms with the stim it worked and all the lights where working and injectors blinking and firing ect. The minute i plugged in the db9 cable to open tunerstudio the injector lights and the ignition went solid and tuner studio would find the ms but could not connect and eventually go offline after 3 attempts. After trying to figure it out, when i plug in the stim now the injector lights are constantly on and no matter what i touch it does not change. R35 and R31 are getting excessively hot. Ive reheated the components to make sure it was soldered good ect and still nothing. I dont know what else to check.

I know its not a stim problem because powering the relay box and plugging the ms with it, i go to test the tach to see if the light on the ms comes on and it does not.

Any ideas?

Sorry for the long post, just want to give as much info as possible.

Thanks for the help in advance

My first thought is that perhaps a ground loop fried the 'Squirt.

How would i check if its fried? Does it mean i need a new one or can i just buy the fried components?

You'd have to start from scratch.

Make sure the 5V power supply is producing 5V.

Check the processor for a clock signal (need as scope)

Do the serial loopback check.

If the basic parts of the 'Squirt checkout, then move onto the sensor/injector interface circuits.

But, it sounds like the CPU is locking up.

Ok everyone so the serial and power circuit check out, but the clock circuit is not working. I am still not sure if its the processor or the actual circuit. I am having a hard time figuring out how to test the circuit and is there any way to check the processor to see if i fried it or if its still good? Is the only way to test the circuit by removing each component and testing them out of the pcb?
