i am doing a bit of research on megasquirt. i am not using it as my standalone, i have a haltech for that. I am setting up an auxilary injection setup and i want to use a megasquirt to control it because they are cheap. In the FAQ it looks like i need to modify my CAS for the megasquirt. is there anyway around this? I could careless about the ignition features of it, i am running it as a fuel only computer. can i give it a tach input from my coil instead of using the CAS?

 

Yep. Use the tach input.
