running but like crap

I got everything running and at first it was running great. Had really good throttle response and good idle Then I drove it and noticed it sounded like it was missing. I didn't log that drive So i thought maybe it was some of my settings and revised them according to Mr. Cake. That seemed to make things worse So i logged a couple times during idle while trying to rev it up. When reving it pops and back fires lacks power. So I'm wondering where I should be looking? Real rich or real lean? Just wanting to make sure I didn't miss something somewhere.

Car is NA 13b with a fairly large street port, stock injectors, s5 NA rotors and RB full exhaust. Here are a couple msqs and logs.

Was just thinking...could it be timing related? I'm at work but if I get any down time I will see how it runs today.

Played with my fuel table and helped the idle. My afrs sit at 10.8 and don't go any higher. I thought I configured it right but I'm using tuner studio and not as familiar with the layout.

The layout in TS is the same as MT since that is determined by the ini file.

10.8 is way too rich. You need to remove a whole lot of fuel. Did you turn off multiply MAP or something?

Ken i turned off map multiply and started tuning just to find out that i really needed it on! bleh. What does map multiply exactly do? I have searched but not been able to find it.

Also what would be ideal afr while not in boost while under load? 12? and what is the ideal idle afr?

Before I forget did my map signal look normal? jw

I didn't want you to turn off Multiply MAP, just wanted to know if you did.

Int boost it depends on how much but I have gone to low-mid 11's on the ones I have tuned when near peak boost. On the dyno that was the most rich I could go without losing power. I usually idle at between 5atdc and tdc for timing with between 12 and 13 afr. That gives me the most stable and controllable idle.

So what does map multiply do? I turned it off and started tuning and got it running pretty decent but when I turn it back on it dies out. So what exactly does does this do?

Leave it in. I added that before the new MAP sampling code to help people run smoother, but it is a part of the speed density equation and should not really be taken out.
