I'm going to attempt jumping ship on my microtech and building a megasquirt. I want to use the MS1 with 3.0 board as used in Aaron's write up, but after the 2nd VR circuit and fan relay mods I'm not sure if I'll have room to solder in the boost control mod that I want to use.

Other things I'd like to do is use the factory air, coolant, and knock sensors. If anyone knows if this is possible, or has any hints I'd greatly appreciate it!

You could get the zeal board from DIYautotune.com that should give you more room in the proto area.

I didn't see anything on running out of proto room on the sticky. (tho I think it mentioned the air sensor)

Didn't think the zeal board was that cheap! I dont know much about megasquirt form factors, but can the zeal daughter board be installed in the standard MS1 case?
