I bought a ms3 from a friend of mine and turns out my vr board has a burn spot on it we believe to be affecting the part where it gets signal from the crank. About to literally give up and junk the car or do all the work over and switch back to rtek lol. Really at a loss right now honestly I don't have much knowledge about Ms but my tuner does we just don't know what to do. Not sure if it can be bypassed or an I going to have to get a whole new system...

Can you get a better picture? Something that is focused? Most cameras have a macro feature which makes taking close up pictures very easy.
From the picture it appears the burned trace is one of the layers inside the board. If there's no other damage than a jumper wire or two can correct the problem. If there is more board damage, then it's time to determine whether a better choice would be to scrap the board and go with a V3.5.
