Q4 Replacement with TIP120 for BACV control

Has anyone done this? I bought a TIP120 because diyautotune.com sold them, they didn't have the one maui recommended to use. Will this do the job?

I'm blocked off but I'm almoste sure you dont need that mod kit. Megasquirt pcb3 should already have a function to contole the bypass valve. Maybe someone else can help more with the diagram and wiring though.

The TIP120 should work just fine. I'm running one of the TIP series as well, not sure of the number though.

Yea, i used the DIY autotune kit for the BAC and it works fine.

TIP 120 will work fine.

I used the ztx689 transistor because it fit where the old transistor did with no wires.
