Progress on my Megasquirt FD project

A while ago I posted that I was working on a project to get the MegaSquirt ECU working on my FD with ignition. Well here is my current situation...

There was a bit of a mix up with my engine supplier who accidently sent me a 13B-RE twin turbo instead of the 13B-REW. That was sent back and the correct motor should be shipped today and arrive on Saturday or Monday. Worst case scenerio it'll arrive Wednesday.

The MS has been assembled by muythaibxr. I haven't taken delivery of it yet but will do so very soon. Probably within the next couple of days since I want it in my hands before the motor arrives.

So... when ever my motor gets here I'll be able to really get started on the project and have things update you guys on getting the FD going with the MS ECU.

13Beast REW: Your megasquirt is ready whenever you are; I may even have FD style trailing working by the time you're ready.... FC trailing works on the oscilloscope.

I'd be very interested in how you are getting a usable trailing spark via MS. Is there a spark split? Do you still retain waste spark?

yes theres a mapped split, and yes you retain the leading wasted spark... trailing isn't wasted spark to begin with.
