O2 voltage not responding
So I'm now on step 55. MS2 V3.0 Everything has been going great until I go to move the O2 potentiometer. It just shows 0 volts and won't respond. I selected "narrowband" under "tools-> calibrate AFR table. I'm not really sure which one I was supposed to select for testing it with the stim, but I wouldn't think it would matter, right?
I went back and verified that I have all the correct components in their correct spots. I even printed the component map and marked out all the components as I re-read every step and verified it was properly installed. Could the problem be in my stim, or is it somewhere on my MS board?
Thanks again

I think it's supposed to be the latest firmware version. Just following instructions
But that makes some sense though, I opted to not install the components for the hall sensor. I figured it wouldn't be necessary if I'm using the vr side, but late last night I read Aaron Cake's install article that said to build both so you can use the stimulator. You think that might be the problem?

If you plan on running leading and trailing ignition you'll need one of the ms2/extra variants on there. The newer ones *should* display O2 even with the engine not running.
Which stimulator do you have?

I bought everything at the bottom of this page:
http://www.diyautotune.com/tech_articles/how_to_megasquirt_your_mazda_fc_rx7.htm
And I'm following the instructions on the megamanual website, with the modifications found at the above posted url.
The firmware you have is the "standard" firmware, which does not support rotary trailing ignition or staged injection.
You'll want to go grab the latest ms2/extra 2.1.0 firmware here:
http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms2extra/...e_20100123.zip
and install it on the ms2.

Ok, 1 last bank of questions now that I've (almost) completed the ECU.
Like I mentioned, i'm using the Zeal Daughterboard. The DIYAutotune instructions say to leave out R19, Q4, Q20, R39, & D8. OK, easy enough. Says we'll run the IAC from the daughterboard.
Do I need to do anything with step 65? I'm pretty sure that doesn't apply to the FC ignition, but I'm just double-checking. It did say
Jumper it, or no? I didn't do anything with step 65 yet (mostly didn't understand my options) so I skipped ahead to step 66.
I completed step 69 where it says that you *can* if you choose to build the PWM flyback damping circuit. Says no problem either way, but I have low impedance injectors, so I THINK I'm good here.
Also did step 71... should I have? It said it was recommended to most people....
And finally, step 74. I omitted R39, but do I still need to install that jumper, or omit it as well for the daughtercard?
I hope one I can get this cleared up soon, I really want to drive the FC again

If you are not using the IGBT high current driver circuit, but want to use the MegaSquirt-II output to control an ignition module (7 or 8 pin HEI for example), jumper JS10 to IGN to bring the signal out on DB37 pin #36. You do not need a pull up, the processor port has one enabled already (at 5 Volts). Skip ahead to step #66
