no rpm with stim after error* board install

got a ms 2.2 works like a charm, new firmware and all. i i narrowed my problem to this... when the black wire"pin 20" coming from errors card is connected to u4, pin 6, i lose rpm signal. i have searched around, and it seems that really no one is using 2.2 any more. but i think i have the same problem as this guy, but he is using a 3.0...

if anyone could help, that would be great. i just want to make sure that this thing is working befor i put it in my car. and if its not, i guess i will be running fuel only

you won't get an rpm signal from the stim anymore after connecting error*'s board. That's just how it is.

It should work fine hooked up to the CAS.

If you need to use the stim for diagnosis purposes (and who doesn't) then you can just cut the wire going to the opto-isolator and put in a quick disconnect. That way, you can just disconnect the wire and the stim will work as planned (with stim for wheel enabled, of course).
