MS1 V3 ignition out put build

What build instructions do I use at stage 65 of the mega manual for MS1 v3?

I cannot find section that shows how to build MS1 v3 so that it can drive the 3x igniters or stock FC coils.

Do I just jumper JS10 to IGN to bring a signal out on DB37 pin #36?

NO! Read the faq first about putting the 4.7k pullup resistors on the LEDs configuring them as ignition outputs, and then wiring the negative lead to a spare pin on the back of the DB37 connector.

I’ve read the faq many times to make sense of ign out puts.

The faq don’t clearly indicate that the 4.7K pullup resisters are an alternative to the mega manual build at stg 65 Instead of populating the IGBT or jumper JS10.

are you saying at section 65 and dont populate IGBT or jumper JS10? instead do the 4.7K pullup mods?

If i do that will the stim test still light the LED fine on the MS during cold enrichment, Cranking and iginition pulse etc? or will these three LEDs now become ign pulse led for all three coils during operation?

Don't worry about installing the Ignition transistor, whatever part it is they are using now. When I bought mine it was a VB921. You can also omit the current sense resistor. Its a large barrel resistor about 0.01Ohms or something. Save the spot on the heat sink for a transistor to drive your Bypass Air Control Valve properly. This also means leaving out certain parts that are for the standard on-off idle control valve.

All the info is there.

I wouldn't worry about the stim, there isn't much that can go wrong if you have good solder joints and you can use your own intuition to test the operation of the circuits when you are connected to the mega in the laptop.

Ah ok great, thanks. well the pull up risitors are the last thing now to build so fingers crossed all this work will finaly pay of.

Cheers
