MS1/E vs stock ecu

Out of curiousity, how does the MS1/Extra chip (speed, processing capabilities, engine smoothness etc) compare to the stock ECU on 2nd gen cars? I'm going to be running mine as soon as i get a few bits of the oil system back and onto the car, and wanted to see how the two compared, both on paper and in driving feel.

Driving feel is really up to you... you tune it.

As far as speed of the CPU, I don't know... but I don't see how it matters in any case, as long as it runs the way you want it to.

8MHz, 8-bit, 512 BYTES of RAM, 32k of flash. (that's the ms1 cpu)

We were able to add all those features due to having good programmers (James, Phil, renns, me, keithg, others), and because everything is written in asm.
