Megasquirt MS newbee.. got some Q's
Hey guys. Im just about ready to get my beloved 7 running on MS.
I am using a MS2 ver 3. with 029v. I had it built by T2GTUS with a 2nd VR sensor. I got all my wiring done, and just need to put a few more things together.
T2GTUS included a cd for me with the MS software. Now I am ready to install it but I am not sure which componets to install. Maybe my setup will help.
I plan to use my AEM wideband controller, (the one with the guage)
its an 89 t2 with a fresh motor. Using S4 T2 rotors, a T70 turbo with 750cc primarys and 1000cc secondaries. Map based i belive is my best choice. I am using an S4 throttle body with a S4 TPS. I was told that he took a guess at me Req. fuel #s. ANY INFO OR SUGGESTIONS WILL HELP

have you checked the FAQ? there is some of the info there that you are asking for.
as far as map based that would be the better choice being that you are on the stock s4 tps . i would highly recommend changing out the stock tps for a full range tps or a rotary style tps. i used one off a ford f150 with the open face for a rod to go in it and also make sure to get it with a 3 wire pin out.
i dont think anyone here has a map that supports 750 prims and 1000 secs. mine is 550 prims and 1000 secs. so that might come close to what you can use. to alteast give you something to atleast to get the car to start.

I have read the faqs. It is very informative. Unfortunatly it seems like it was cut short and a lot of info was left out. Im pretty sure I chose the right compnets to install. I plugged my MS into my harness today and turned on the ign. All 3 LEDs lit up. GOOD right?...... Well I went to plug my cable to see if I could communicate with it and maybe double check all my settings with the faqs. But it was then I realized my Laptop doesnt have a DB9 connector. Now what?.....
PS. I didnt check if the FP would come on, I took out the fuse. I didnt want to run the pump bc I havent put any fuel in the fuel cell yet.
