I think you just want a new cas.

that would depend on which teeth are cut out, and would screw up the counting so that you couldnt use the typical 1-3-7-9 or 11-1-5-7 settings and you'd have a 10 tooth main wheel (not 12), but as long as the CAS is positioned in such a way that a tooth passes approx 60-75* BTDC and there is another tooth at approx 0* BTDC (if you use trigger return for cranking), it *should* work... although your RPMs may jump around quite a bit whenever those missing teeth pass, and this'll cause all sorts of issues that look like noise.

Overall, you're probably a LOT better off going with an unmodified CAS though, its tried and true, and one less source of headaches later.

they come out on 2-5 IIRC, but i'm not positive on that. Just check them with your multi-meter or look at the pin-out at the end of the V3 assembly instructions online.

So what pins do IAC1A and IAC1B 2A and 2B come out on and for the second VR for the shielded cable on the plug does the G- go to any spare earth pin i have VR2 in G+ on IAC1A and the ground to IGN for the LM1815N But where do i put the G- on the plug NE- is pin 7 ? and the VR2 out from the 1k resistor is to pin 11 of the CPU correct i soldered it direct to pin 11
