microsquirt v2 4 coil outputs and rx8 mode starts but misfire

I instaled a microsquirt v2 and wired like this;

1.L1-spark A
2.T1-spark B
3.L2-spark D
4.T2-spark C

spark C = WLED
spark D = ALED

I have sparks in all 4 but misfire a lot, and for a moment it cuts all sparks I cheked all the wiring I did a few instalations with no split using doble towers colis but want to try this...I also have to close the gap with all the microsquirts v2 to get rpm signal and put a 22k ohms inseries resistor to the vr2+ to rev to 10500 rpm without losing the signal .In tuner studio it freezes when it cuts all the sparks... the firmware is 3.1.1. Some one try this before? Thanks,Frank

I'll have to check on the code again to make sure you have the outputs correct. I don't remember what I did in uSquirt mode.

I did a test with output test mode and spark B was one of the leds, the wiring was ok, and what do you think was causing the intermitent spark cut?I ended wiring it in waste spark, sparkA and B only no split and is working perfect no spark cut and no missfire.

Don't know. I would have to take a look on the scope. I have not verified this mode in a while.

stock rx7 turbo II cas and 0 angle, if I use only sparkA and sparkB the car revs perfect up to 10,500 rpm (rev limit) and the timing is steady with no problems but if I use rotary mode on even tuner studio freezes when the spark stop working an the timing jumps

chango: I don't have an msq for your config. Using my own settings, it seems to work fine.

I used ,

number of coils: coil on plug

ignition input : rising edge

spark output: inverted

output mode: fd mode

rx8 mode

maybe I had the outputs wrong in the first place.. can you tell how to wire the outputs L1 ,T1,L2,T2?
thanks for youre time and patience

I tried that ant the only diference whas L1 and T1 fired at the same time but still cuts

the sparks time to time, with coil un plug, seems to work fine but cuts the sparks and

have no idea were is L1,T1,L2,T2,Maybe the problem was the two BIP373 I instaled

in the ALED and WLED, it was grounded in the same point of the msd boxes, I used a

470ohms pull up, 1k, and 2.2k to drive the BIP373 but no luck...

chango have you try it on the stim with the spark output set to normal and see if the problem still there.

I have the v3.0 microsquirt it will make a diference? maybe the 2.0 is not capable of4 coil outputs? I will test with 4 logic level coils and the stock cas driven by a drill to see if the problem persists, also I upgraded to the new 3.2.1 code to see if there is a diference. The only problem is I dont have a oscilloscope, and do not know the sequence of the outputs to make the wiring because the output test mode only tests the outputs coil a, and coil b

There could be a bug. Unfortunately I didn't have time to test in microsquirt mode this weekend though but I should have time soon.

Looking at your original wiring, it looks correct.
