My question is, is anyone on here using a Apple Powerbook/Macbook with their megasquirts?

I have installed Megatunix...my question is...is Megasquirt-Extras solely firmware or is it software also (as in, you can't control it using Megaunix?).

Another issue is the cable...apparently there are issues with serial to usb adapters but what about bluetooth?

As you may have gathered, I haven't the CPU isnt not installed yet (even when it is, we'll be using a PC to tune). I was just curious what sort of percentage of the megasquirt community is using Macs.

 

I have a Mac right now, but I don't use that for tuning.

I've never used megatunix, so can't say one way or the other how good or bad it is, or whether it works right on the mac.

The one time I tried it, it didn't work that well... it didn't seem to like my USB->serial controller.
