Looking to go Stand Alone!

Hi All,

I have a 1990 GTu with a NA 6Port Engine. The car has the S5 T2 following parts to make it a 6Port Turbo.

S5 T2 Parts on car:
upper manifold
front cap
ps
afm
exhaust manifold/turbo
tps on NA stock throttle body mounted upsaide down....

I also have a FMIC, boost controller, bov, walbro 255 fp, red oval injectors.

I am looking to go stand alone and might but the Ems Pro w/harness. It has built 4 bar map and a lot more features packed into it then a megasquirt. It does run on the megasquirt tuning software. So if I do buy this ecu this is where I will be coming for help to tune it.

Can anyone look over the ecu by click the following link and tell me if it is worth it or if I can make the same ecu with a megasquirt for cheaper?

Also tell me if this is a good stand alone for my set up??

Thanks here is the link

Diyautotune has a very good reputation for fully supporting anything they sell. I'm not personally familiar with the Spectre/EMS Pro/whatever they're calling it now, can't help you there.

Thanks. I was told by a few different members on ehre that they are good to buy from. I was looking for a number so I can call and ask some questions but no number listed on the site? Do they only help thru email??

Does anyone have a number for them. I personally do not like dealing with a company that doesn't give out its phone number.

I ran a beta EMSPro on a couple of rx7s. It ran fine on my rx7, but we moved it to eage8's rx7, and had some issues with the tach inputs that we never resolved (because we switched to a standard v3 board running ms2/extra).

I think that if we had resolved those issues, it would've been fine.

If you have questions, please ask on here. That way the answers can help everyone instead of just you.
