AZ Issues setting Pots on MS3X 3.57

I just started setting up a new MS3X 3.57 ECU for my RX7 engine and got to the part in Aaron Cake's instructions that say to adjust the 4 Pots. I cannot hear a click no matter what I do. I have spent countless hours looking thru posts for a conclusive answer to no avail. I have so many changes to this engine from stock form that I need to be positive they are set correctly to remove them as a cause if I have issues starting this engine for the first time.

Is it as simple as turning them many turns counterclockwise and calling them good? I have tried to ohm them out and not sure which legs to measure from.

Thank you

I couldn't either. 40 years around airplanes. If you turn them the number of turns that is says in the instructions you'll be good. There is a clutch at the end so you can't damage it.

I appreciate your reply. I will unscrew them all the way - I just wish I could be sure that does the trick to assure they are not the reason for any issues when I start it.

If anyone can help with a process or trick to know for sure, it would be great!

just like spokanerxdude wrote..some don't have the click...turn them back per spec plus a turn or two and go from there.
