inj open time

like the tittle said does anybony know the inj. open time of the 550cc injector from a s5 engine.thanks

.9 to 1 ms works for my 570's, and did for the stock turbo 550's. If you go to bigger injectors like 1000's or 1500's, it'll get larger, on the order of 1.4 - 1.6 depending on the size, since theres a larger area exposed to fuel pressure that the solenoid needs to actuate against

For my 460cc, I arrived at a value of 1.2 ms. I did this by switching to 4 squirts per cycle, and then adjusting the opening time up until I could adequately control the AFR at really low load when the fuel injected was getting close to the opening time.
