Megasquirt im new to MS.
im new to MS.
hi, how you doing guys.
Will the ms1 2.2 work in 13b?
I understand that some led mod has to be done for some reason.?
Cas has to be moded, 2 teeth taken out, but some say its not the best way?

The 12-1 method is one way but is not the best for noise rejection, etc. The non-altered 24+2 CAS will work just fine. Please read muythaibxr's sticky here, look at msextra.com and find the rotary specific directions to start with. Please understand that the MS is not a plug-it-in-drive-it-away type device. You will need to understand the physics and calcs that lead to a good tune or you will be disappointed and stand a good chance of ruining something. Please take this message in the realistic, educational spirit in which it is meant, there is no flame or disrespect intended. If you wish, PM me to arrange a phone discussion, I'm in Delray.

i keep reading people having problems with ignition noise interference . And all the mods that have to be done such as led pullup resistor mod and etc is for ignition?
I wonder if megasquirt can run just the fuel part and i can have locked distibutor for ignition, turbo setup ofcourse.

if you buy it, ken, i and the other users can tell you things to try to get it running...

I don't mean to be rude, but your signature says you are a rotary mechanic and you have been here long enough to know to check the FAQs and use the search feature.
Yes, but why would you want to do that? The V3 board already includes a VR circuit meaning that you only have to make one. It also has a host of other improvements including a flyback circuit, far better protections on the IO, a proto area, etc. etc.
This is well documented in the FAQ. The LEDs are used to trigger the ignition coils. They need pullup resistors to match the trigger the stock ignitors accept.
Only if you use only the single VR conditioner on the V3 board. Make the LM1815 circuit and you can use a stock CAS. Using the dual trigger setup is going to be better because you don't have to mess with chopping teeth out of the CAS and it will be more immune to noise.
