Ign output which resistors?

Hello all
About half way done my ms2v3.0 board following aaron cake write up and utilizing zeal daughterboard. My question is should I use the 1k resistors as per DIY

We will need three ignition outputs, each with a 5 volt pull up.
Run a 1K resistor from the 5 volt source in the proto area or the right side of R24 to the top (negative) lead of D14, and run a jumper wire from the negative lead of D14 to IGN. This is spark output A.
Run a 1K resistor from the 5 volt source in the proto area or the right side of R28 to the top (negative) lead of D16, and run a jumper wire from the negative lead of D16 to IAC2B. This is spark output B.
Run a 1K resistor from the 5 volt source in the proto area or the right side of R25 to the top (negative) lead of D15, and run a jumper wire from the negative lead of D15 to IAC2A. This is spark output C.

Or continue to follow aaron cakes instructions as I have for everything else and use 4.7k resistors?

The final modification necessary is to add pullup resistors to the LEDs. These are to be used as the ignition outputs for the stock coils. We need three outputs: leading trigger, trailing trigger, trailing toggle. Use 3 4.7K resistors. I like to add the resistors to the bottom of the board for a neater appearance and because it is quite easy to lay them on the board and solder. Cut the leads short and then lay the resistor across the square pad of each LED to the farthest end of the 330 Ohm (orange, orange, brown) resistor. The image below shows the position of the resistors:

Both work actually. The key point is just that there is a pullup on the LED.

The V3.57 board has 1K pullups as I recall so anyone using a V3.57 is at 1K.

Yeah, the higher resistance 4.7k suggestion came from a problem I had on my first rx7 install where using 1k resistors caused some issues for me. Switching to 4.7k resolved them. Looking back the kit I had used the wrong kind of voltage regulator, so it probably couldn't handle driving as much as I was driving with it.
