i decided to start a new thread for this. i mentioned in my other thread that i have been experiencing no IAT signal. i thought i had burnt up the sensor from a backfire. but i tested the one i had and another one i got from my other rx7, and they are very close when i test for resistance. they both work. so i put the megasquirt on the stim. in megatune its crazy. my lowest point im reading for IAT is -699*c and the highest is like 1600*c. this is unreasonable. has something messed up in the megasquirt from a short or something? it never read that extreme on the stim before. the scale on the megatune is bouncing +/- 500*c. what the hell. i checked the sensor and its ok, and megatune is bouncing all over the place. any ideas guys?

 

I've seen voltage spikes corrupt the flash... A reflash and reburn of the msq usually fixes that.

thats what i was thinking. thought a file may have gone corrupt controlling the temps. thanks ken.
