hesitation problem

so i have changed my plugs, wires, coils and my car cuts out right at 2800rpm but runs fine above and below that. my secondarys are staged to come on at 3500rpm, and it will only hesitate after the car is warmed up. any ideas?

Did you try making it richer at the area in the map where it cuts out?

What firmware are you running? what processor (ms2 or ms1)?

Are you sure the secondaries aren't coming on? Can you post a datalog?

he will post a data log as soon he can. do you want to see the wideband datalog or the ms one?

its ms1 v3.0

i dont know any more info. it cuts when running up through the rpm and while coming back down too so i dont think its from a lean condition.

that sounds more like an ignition issue. Please post an msq along with the datalog when you can.

I'd like to see any data you have.

Your req_fuel is really low... what size primaries do you have?

You have a bunch of negative numbers in the trailing split table... that won't work at all... all the numbers should be between 0 and 20.

You have the off point for staging set to 800 rpms which will have the off-point at 2700 rpms...

You also have it set to stage on "both conditions" but usually for a boosted vehicle I set it to boost on one condition... so above the target RPM OR above the target kPa instead of above both.

A datalog would be good if you could send me one.

I don't have anything with that kind of setup.

However, it shouldn't be that hard to get working. I think most likely your req_fuel and staging settings are the cause of your hesitation.

what should the req_fuel be at for a stock turbo? and the staging settings? its weird but i dont think my problem is caused by the fuel just because how my tach jumps so bad when it hits that point.

Req fuel should be around 7-8 with stock primaries.

For staging, I'd set it to stage on one of the conditions, and set the RPM a bit higher, then set the off delta to 300-400 instead of 800 rpms.
